Some tips:
Publication: a
short description (gzipped, 84k) of the
SOFA site will appear in the next
issue of the Standard Star
Newsletter
The site is referenced by:
Nota Bene : An IAU
project is also called SOFA
(Standards Of Fundamental Astronomy), and "will provide a collection of
definitive astronomical algorithms and standards for use in astronomical
computing." It is not related to the present site (I discovered the IAU
project lately, I may change the name of my own site if a near futur, if
necessity arises).
Acknowledgments: I am grateful to Éd. Oblak (Observatoire de Besançon) and to F. Bonnarel (CDS Strasbourg) for helpful advices. I also thank J. Bouvier and A.-M. Lagrange (LAOG, Grenoble) for early discussions, and LAOG and UdM for providing disk space.
